Hagar Australia is part of an international organisation dedicated to supporting women and children who have survived human trafficking, slavery, and abuse. We work to provide comprehensive recovery services and empower survivors to live independent, empowered lives.Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Volunteer Administrative Assistant to support our small but dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills who is looking to contribute to meaningful work in a professional, purpose-driven environment.Key Responsibilities
Assisting with complex compliance and accreditation processes
Assist with general office administration and data entry
Support donor management and record-keeping in our CRM system
Help prepare documentation and reports for fundraising, programs, and board meetings
Respond to basic email or phone enquiries as needed
Assist with event coordination and logistics
Provide ad-hoc support to team members across departments
What We’re Looking For
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Confidence using Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems (training provided)
A proactive and positive attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Alignment with Hagar’s values and mission
