At Hagar Australia, we are committed to transparency, accountability and ethical practice in all areas of our work. We maintain a strong suite of policies and procedures that guide our operations, including our Code of Conduct, Child Protection Policy, Privacy Policy, Complaints Policy and Communications Policy. Hagar Australia is accredited through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and is a proud member of the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID), upholding the ACFID Code of Conduct to ensure high standards in governance, financial management and program effectiveness.

 Hagar Australia is an active member of the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) and adheres to the ACFID Code of Conduct, which defines minimum standards of governance, management and accountability of development for member non-government organisations (NGOs). Complaints relating to a breach of the ACFID Code of Conduct can be made to the ACFID Code of Conduct Committee.

Hagar Australia is accredited at base level with the Australian Government through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). We receive support through the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP), which enables us to deliver life-changing work with survivors of trafficking, slavery and abuse

Donations of $2 and over to Hagar Australia Overseas Aid Fund (ABN 20 159 198 535) have Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status with the Australian Tax Office.
